The Colts Football team is seeing record numbers of college offers this school year. Head Coach Matt Marquez and assistant coach Kendall Mooney are not allowing the COVID-19 pandemic to get in the way of their athletes dreams of playing football in college. Due in large part to their guidance, a record number of our Colts have received offers to play at the collegiate level. We are proud of the efforts of Coach Matt on behalf of his players, especially when you consider this is only his third year as Head Coach of the Colts.
Coaches Marquez and Mooney make a program emphasis on academics to their players, “Grades are the golden ticket, they open so many doors.” They are both hopeful that with the influx of offers and attention put on Crawford during this year, it will encourage more athletes to stay at their home school and compete for Crawford High.
